A short walk from the 3 star Hotel Goldoni along the river
will lead you to the Ponte Vecchio bridge,
built in 1345 and full of rather expensive jewellery shops.
On the way you will pass Via Tornabuoni,
the designer street in Florence, full of all the designer
names that will make any shopper feel like they have arrived
in heaven!
Then walk in any direction and you will be right in front
of one of the many cultural and historic masterpieces that
have made Florence a city visited by millions of tourists
every year, including the Uffizi Gallery,
Piazza della Signoria, the Duomo
and Giotto’s Bell Tower and Santa
Croce church to name just a few.
